{"replyTo":"","text":"Find a company that will actually teach you how to drive. The schools are there only to teach you to pass the test. Be a company driver, at least for your first year if not much longer. Don’t go get dragged into the lease operator thing. Learn the business first and even if you like it. I was with Prime over 15 years ago. I thought that their training was very good or maybe I just had a really good trainer, but I learned a lot from him. I’m sure things have changed, but I’m sure their training is still pretty good. ","replyToPid":0}

{"replyTo":"","text":"This is great advice, Beware of drivers and recruiters who tell how great their program is, The driver gets money for referring you so don't believe everything you hear and make sure you understand the terms of your contract comment, DO NOT JUMP INTO A LEASE PROGRAM, Also no matter what you here don't think you are going to make much money while in training or fresh out of school, You will have to pay your dues, Companies pay for experience drivers. And please don't become a trainer when you're fresh out of school learn what your are doing, you'll have nothing to teach a new driver you have no experience.
