{"text":"Im specing a new truck to pull flat deck. 80k or less. Looking for a good balance between performance and efficiency. I was planning to run 3.06 super 40ies. 1300 rpm @ 68 mph. I cant decide on an engine though. Heres what Ive heard\n\n\nx15 performance: no issues, may not like low RPMs long term, average 5.5 - 6 mpg\n\nX15 efficiency: great mileage 7 - 8 mpg, may blow up in the first 100k, has a loud vibration that no one can fix\n\n\nThe performance sounds good for power and reliability, but that 7-8 mpg of the efficiency series looks real good for the bottom line. Can anyone confirm these rumors? Are these MPG numbers accurate? Is the efficiency series really that bad?","pics":"[]","canComment":true}
