{"text":"As a professional truck driver, you spend most of your day sitting in a stationary position. After long continuous periods of driving, blood flow slows down and muscles tend to stiffen up. You feel anything but limber and ready for physical activity when you finally stop And get out of the truck. With that, stretching is essential to avoid blood clots and any other complications that can be gained by sitting for long periods of time.\n\n\nStretching 101: Doing it safely\n\n\nStart by relaxing and breathing normally while stretching. As you stretch, push your breath out slowly through your mouth. Slowly count to or time yourself for 10-30 seconds. Breathe normally as you stretch. \n\n\nMake sure your stretches are always smooth and slow, not bouncy, to prevent muscle tightening and injuries.\n\n\nAs your flexibility improves, reach farther into each exercise. If you feel sharp or stabbing pain then you've stretched too far and should stop. A mild pulling feeling is normal during stretching.\n\n\nNever lock your joints; Always keep them slightly bent. Locking your joints can cause injury.","videos":"[]","link":"{}","pics":"[{\"description\":\"\",\"height\":480.0,\"name\":\"980/silhouette-3105527_960_720_1557768426_1557768426.png\",\"url\":\" \",\"width\":960.0}]","canComment":true} |
