{"replyTo":"","text":"Suggestion..\n\nIn your own writing keep a log of time pick-up / delivery information including dispatch miles and actual miles ran for each run.. Even if who you drive for transflows paperwork, transflow/trippak or any other form of electronic transmission may get lost or not submitted. It ensures no matter what you get paid and you have a personal track record of work you've completed. Plan your trip so you know where you'll be shutting down. Have a backup shutdown location encase your first choice isn't available. Suggest you use a Motor Carrier physical map along with a gps. Pretrip / post trip your equipment beginning, during, and ending each work day. You could stop at anytime for anything and have a flat tire, a light out, a leak..ect. It happens to all of us. Make sure your equipment is road ready at all times! Also do not allow anyone, dispatch, whomever try to make you run when you have not had rest!!! If you are driving and feeling tired/sleepy get off the road message/call dispatch and rest until you are able to drive!! It's not only your life but it's the lives of others we as \" professional drivers \" are responsible for on the roads. Lastly whenever you're backing and you're not sure if there's enough room on your blindside.... Please G. O. A. L. get out and look. It will save you paperwork and saftey down your neck as well as downtime if repairs are needed.","replyToPid":0} |
