I’m all messed up

{"text":"Alright I’m a mess. Go ahead and laugh. When I started trucking I used to buy groceries before leaving on a run, or I would cook up a few meals and throw them in Rubbermaid containers. For the first while I had no microwave (company truck, no inverter)\n\nNow, I no longer have access to a stove and fridge, (well, bar fridge in the shop). But the truck has an inverter, and a microwave. The electric cooler I have in the truck Im not impressed with. \n\nI’ve tried electric fry pans or slow cookers, it always is hard to clean up from cooking with no access to a sink \n\nBBQ I’ve had good luck with but it takes up a lot of room, and again cleanup for cooking utensils is a pain. I’ve used alcohol or brake clean with a rag in the past. Seems to work \n\nPropane camp stoves work, but again, cleanup with no sink sucks. \n\nNever tried a lunchbox cooker \n\nSo I guess, the point of this, is I need to figure out how to get back to three squares a day. \n\nComing home last the milk went bad while in the cooler. So I’d skip breakfast, go load or deliver and it’s 3:00 before you eat. Drive like a bastard until 10:00 pm then time to eat and sleep. Not exactly good habits. Been doing that the last couple months, couple meals a day, usually fast food or gas station food with the odd sit down meal thrown in\n\nI don’t have time when I’m home anymore for food prep or grocery shopping\n\nI’m a one man band but I know what I’m doing isn’t healthy long term","pics":"[]","canComment":true}

{"replyTo":"","text":"grab your groceries on the weekend, rice chicken sausages, cook everything up and do the Rubbermaid ready-made meals like you were saying, freeze them. get a microwave, get an inverter. get fruit, bananas are good because they don't need to be washed, apples are great too but they get bumped and bruised and have to be cleaned. get instant coffee so you can make your own, pour milk into empty water bottles, get a proper fridge in your truck... until you have these things you're out of luck. have fruit and coffee for breakfast, on your half hour break microwave one of your meals and eat that, you can also go for bread, margarine lunch meat processed cheese cetera and make sandwiches, I don't recommend nor do I ever eat right before I hit the bunk, that's a one-way ticket to a fat ass.","replyToPid":0}
