{"replyTo":"","text":"My opinion,  is that even though you want a \"truck gps\" do not, and I do mean, do not rely on it. Most time's it'll take you on a longer route regardless of route settings, such as \"faster route\" or \"shortest route\". I do have a Rand Mcnally TND 730, but I also use Google maps, as it is a lot more accurate than these truck gps's. Do be aware of routes as Google maps isn't a trucker's gps. But 9 x's out of 10 it's on point. Also download Trucker's Path, you can set your location and then transfer that route to Google maps. And as stated ALWAYS check where you are going to go before you get on the road on maps in satellite view.  \nOn the headset I have two I use and people on the other end never complain about background noise.  Blue Parat VXI 450 (Ebay for $40) and Plantronics (bought on OfferUp $20). \nBest of luck out there and watch your six on these roads and stops..","replyToPid":0}

It can reroute you if there is a traffic delay up ahead on your route which I’ve done a couple times and it does a good job with updated ETAs in that respect as well. {"replyTo":"","text":"I have a Rand McNally road atlas, a Rand McNally Tnd 540, a Garmin dezl 580 and a Blue Parrot 450.  The 2 GPSes always have some sort of problem. All truck GPSes will screw you at some point. Blue Parrot has a very good warranty. If it breaks, contact them and they will send you a new one.","replyToPid":0}

You probably just want one because you believe it’s what truckers wear. You don’t need it. I wouldn’t spend $100 or more on a headset. You’ll be disappointed. It does what all Bluetooths that cost $40 do. I would save my points and then get one. I personally don’t like the bulky goofy looking headset. ","replyToPid":0}
