{"text":"Hi I was hoping someone can tell me How much $ money an Owner Operator make? Just checking cause I want to make the bigleap and purchase my first truck. ","pics":"[]","canComment":true}
{"replyTo":"","text":"You're going about it the wrong way. Already. If you already won the lottery you should just buy a tour bus and drive around. Owner Operator + First Truck = Disaster for sure to happen. Talk to a company about leasing on to them before you try to run your own show. Learn about how to run your truck and business under someone else authority. Establish business credit. Please talk to a company about bringing your truck on with them. Atleast then you don't have to worry about where or who to call to get that work. Cuz if you already had all this setup you wouldn't be asking how much a owner op makes.","replyToPid":0}
{"replyTo":"","text":"If you want to be owner op for first time I’d recommend learning the basics on truck maintenance and common problems, buying the best value truck and not a huge loan too much, find the best company to lease on with who will not pay you less than advertised or pay way too low like 1.20cpm","replyToPid":0}
{"replyTo":"","text":"An honest answer is $1.50-$2.00 a mile. You can find loads paying more but don't thing you will come out here getting a consistent rate. cuz the game changes week to week. And coast to coast. Everything varies. Every owner op is in different categories. A dryvan driver not making the same as a flatbed driver in a certain time of the year. You question is almost like asking how much does a college graduate make? You should be more specific about what exactly you're trying to do. We're all in it for the money but we all major different out here. Like myself I changed according to the season. Everyone does what's best for them.","replyToPid":0}
