You’re gonna have to put in a couple years with a clean history before you can get a better opportunity usually… There’s no fast track just time and opportunity and pray for the right door to open. If you were content with $800 or even 750 (yes it’s very possible and easy for you just to make that amount) then you were going to be a very happy camper. But if you’re one of these guys that expects to make $3000 working 9 to 5 and being home on Saturday and Sunday, you can forget it. (Ya those guys are on here, complaining about their pay, like they’re some type of engineer)\n\nIt all depends on where your happy medium is. I like what I do. \nPersonally, I think too many people dramatize the industry.  They want to work but they want to work partially bring home 2,500/week\n\nAnd you all wonder why so many trucking companies are hiring illegals"}
