Don't be embarrassed.  its better to look at your surroundings. Than tear up someone's truck. Its impossible to eat healthy in truckstop.  Preplan your meals and bring with you.  Stay away from junk food. it will kill you. Make time for family.  I been gone for weeks. Because my customer needed me and I missed life events at home. Some things in life only happens once. No retakes. So go home for special occasions.  Most importantly be safe","replyToPid":0}

I order groceries from them all the time. The Best way to eat healthier foods. But if you feel like just sticking with $8 fruit cups at truck stops, then knock yourself out.\n\nAnd you can order from any store that is contracted with Instacart, it doesn’t have to be groceries"}

{"replyTo":"","text":"You look like you could be in your 20s at most early 30s. I’d say work on trying to get  a degree online and then get the hell out of trucking. This industry is a meat shredder. If you decide to”nope I want to be a trucker” then get into something specialized and get away from dry/reefer freight. Dry and reefer companies don’t pay crap and are basically the bottom of the barrel. Just being honest. You’re competing for pay with thousands of other drivers and the foreign drivers will work for a bag of rice. Specialized, like cryogenics, step deck, tanker-hazmat, oversized, anything like that will pay better but you can say goodbye to regular home time. The last project I was on kept me out for six months, but I did get paid well.  Something to keep in mind.","replyToPid":0}

","text":"Really, where would you suggest a woman truck driver go?  I’ve been out here 20 years.. I get checks like that no matter how many places I move away from.  I think it’s better to stay and force your home time requests to manipulate away from the sitting around.","replyToPid":488358}
