Create your own route

{"replyTo":"","text":"The only way I know to replicate a suggested route is to place random gps points along the intended route to shape it. Like gps says one way but you need to route off another road. Well, on that road, find a rest area, travel stop, etc and add a stop point then move on to the next. Repeat as many times you need. It’s tedious sure but it will get you where you need. Just always remember to double check their suggested route for restrictions and clearances. You pay the fine. Not them. {"replyToPid":0,"replyTo":"","text":"You might be apple to do it on the highest level paid option in TruckerPath but I'm far from sure.  \n\nYou can probably put in the routes in something like Google maps using waypoints you pick on the map. However, its not a truck routing app.  You'd have to be damned careful if didn't put you on a non-truck route with low clearances or weight restrictions. \n\nIf I were you, I'd find out WHY they are giving you elaborate routes to drive. If its just someone being a control freak that's one thing. If they are carefully routing you around weigh stations that's something else entirely."}

{"replyTo":"","text":"you need to remember that these dispatchers aren't and probably never have been a truck driver. \nthey're probably giving you that route from some program they have, not realizing that it's messed up. I worked for a company that did that and gave you fuel stops to use. most weren't even capable of fueling a truck. needless to say they quit that program. talk to the person who's doing it and tell them it's not feasible to follow their route. they may change it up.","replyToPid":0}

{"replyTo":"","text":"I usually use the good ol’ Rand McNally, but in instances where I need a more specific route I go on Truckrouter.com. It’s no app, but you can tailor your own routes and it’ll give you a step by step guide. Almost like Mapquest for truckers.","replyToPid":0}
