{"replyTo":"","text":"As a Philly native, I will say, if you can handle a truck out west, you can definitely handle it on the east coast. I run both.\n\nBUT...tolls* rack up fast, trip plan for long stretches without viable fuel stops or overpriced service plazas. Traffic can be like Los Angeles, just across 5 state lines. Run it at night. \n\n* - You can avoid toll roads, turnpikes, etc but prepare to use a lot of common sense with winding, shoulderless roads, tight turns, steep and fast hilly town roads, SLOW speed limits, attentive police, lack of truck parking and stops, etc.\n\nAmerica's infrastructure grew from the northeast out, and the relics of yesteryear is not kind to 70+ feet of tractor trailer in some areas. Also, get your Atlas out and check for low clearances.\n\nGood luck.","replyToPid":0} |
