Getting hit from the rear with trailer brakes released

{"text":"Does getting hit from the rear when parked cause more damage or less when trailer brakes are released? Are you going to get damage to the fifth wheel with the trailer brakes released or is it more likely to damage the truck hitting you with trailer brakes set? I’ve been hit in a rest area from behind while parked by some dude who duct taped his already damaged front end together. He was the only truck damaged (more damaged).
