Pets on the road

{"text":"How many of you take your dog(s) on the road with you? What kind of dog do you have? What is something you learned in your experience?\n\nI tried to take my little dog with me on one trip and it didn’t work out so well because I didn’t know how to prepare for it. {"replyTo":"","text":"I have two miniature schnauzers they have been with me for 8 and 10 years on the road. Every 2 or 3 hrs I stop stop and let them out I'm not sure what you mean on prepared but having them is great. Not everyone is willing or have patients to have pets onboard good luck on your decision and stay safe ","replyToPid":0}

It was difficult at first but spending that much time with my dogs has been a blessing because I've learned to understand them better. they each have a unique way of letting me know that they're thirsty or have to go potty. It's really a learning process..... every trip I took them on things got easier because I learned from mistakes....I pack a bag for them and added new items like a brush, lint remover, water/food dish, extra blankets, towel (incase it rains and they are soaked), treats, chew toys.....and my list goes on but you get the point. \nOne of my dogs once rolled herself and s***...she was covered in it....I had to grab a gallon of water, some shampoo and washed her up.....that towel came in handy lol
