{"text":"Been asked by my company to be a new hire trainer for 2-4 weeks at a time. Basically showing new drivers how to work their clock, bump docks, trip plan, and how to go to a shipper/receiver and do paperwork. \n\nMy question to the ones that have done this is:\n\n1) what kind of extra pay did you receive?\n \n A) ran team loads and got to claim all miles\n\n B) received a weekly/monthly/end of training bonus \n\n2) did you make enough money to compensate for training and having to live with another person in your truck. \n\n3) anything I should know as a trainer to help me with this process. \n\nMy company wants to run me as a trainer but only give me solo type loads to run but get to keep all miles. No bonus either. Their saying I will make 600-800 more a week doing this but I just don’t see it. If this is the case I’ll make the same money by myself than with a trainee in my truck. Only difference is I will not have to drive, I’ll just have to help the trainee while sitting in the passenger seat. I can run 3800-4200 miles a week by myself legally with no PC. \n\nAny info will help thanks. ","videos":"[]","link":"{}","pics":"[]","canComment":true,"externalShare":false} |
