flat bed / dry & refer

{"replyTo":"","text":"Flat bedding is harder more physical, and you need trained if you've never done it. it's hard tarping loads in wind and heat. and throwing straps over and fastening down properly takes time and must be done right. as well as using chains and binders. You also have different types of tarps. wood, steel usage are different in lengths widths etc... !   a ladder, coil racks, and 2x6s and bungies and corner protectors are required. smoke tarps too! which used to cover just front of loads to protect from exhaust heat, unless exhaust under truck. Anyway 23.00 is not enough for working and driving!","replyToPid":0}

Once you have the knowledge and experience you can put in your 2 weeks, get the raise you desire or move to a high paying company.","replyToPid":0}

With Refer you'll must likely have to get a truck wash between each load also you will be fueling your refer to keep it running and a lot of shippers/receivers will not let you in the gate if it's not 1/2 to 3/4 full. Flat bed pays usually pays more than either of these but as mentioned it you also have to keep in mind that you'll be tarping/ unstrapping your load. More money but also more work. It all depends on what your goals are and how hard you want to work to achieve them. With that said $23 hr seems on the low end for the work you'll be putting in.","replyToPid":0}
