{"text":"Everyday my coolant light comes on for about a minute or 2 then it goes away maybe 1-3 times a day. I checked the coolant level once when it was on and it was a little under the minimum as soon as I could I bought some coolant but when I was going to put more in it the coolant was sitting in between minimum and maximum. I was off for the weekend and now that I’m back I checked and coolant was right under minimum so I added more and turned it on as soon as I turned it on coolant level dropped under minimum but there’s no leaks on the ground. If you find yourself adding coolant frequently and don’t find a leak, chances are it your EGR cooler leaking coolant into your exhaust.","replyToPid":0}

Other places for coolant leaks are under the sleeper heater core somewhere behind the driver seat (at least on the Freightliner). If you cannot find any leaks whatsoever on the ground under the hood, it’s possible that the coolant is leaking into the exhaust or the engine oil, in which case you better get that truck in the shop ASAP."}

{"replyTo":"","text":"It’s either going through the exhaust or leaking.  You could have any number of small leaks that won’t ever make it to the ground. For example loose clamp, radiator fins rotting and seeping….","replyToPid":0}

","text":"Pull down on coolant sensor bottom of coolant reservoir. If light stays off you have a wacky coolant sender. I put new coolant reservoir with sender fixed mine.","replyToPid":435524}
