{"text":"making an attempt at fermenting vegetables for the first time. Made a jar of cabbage, broccoli, and asparagus. \n\nFermenting with clean bottled water to make sure there is no chlorine, and pink Himalayan sea salt. \n\nSpiced it up a little bit with crushed red pepper, cayenne pepper, and added a tiny bit of garlic. \n\nJust got it together a few minutes ago. Will be taking it in the truck with me so I can release the pressure on the jars daily, and see how it tastes on Tuesday (gives it 4 full days of fermentation. \nIf this goes well, I will order some fermenting lids (they release pressure automatically) and probably some weights so I can do different veggies without the worry of them floating to be top. \n\nIf you don’t hear from me after Tuesday, then I did it wrong ????","pics":"[{\"description\":\"If this goes well, I will order some fermenting lids (they release pressure automatically)\",\"height\":562.0,\"name\":\"0/ios_15486685674380.png\",\"url\":\"\",\"width\":750.0}]","canComment":true}
