Stay company for two years and training is free or walk away and work somewhere else and you owe them like 3800.  I cant stand mega carriers but it was the only way i could afford to get my license amd have a guaranteed job.","replyToPid":0}

","text":"after 20+ years with the military, one year is a drop in the bucket.  it'll be over before you know it.  Like with anything else though, the people you deal with the most will make it or break it for you.  i am two months into my one year at Swift and so far I have lucked out like a big dog.  so far I have not had a single issue that could not be resolved with a phone call.","replyToPid":412695}

This has no cost to you and you get better training in most cases imo. Get at least a year or 2 and then you can go to any company you want. Much cheaper and you’ll be better off. If you haven't started school yet and you know someone who can pay for school up front, that's what I did, paid them back +$1k. then my job paid me back over double that withing 5 years. I think Schneider helps you through their school, but I only heard from someone who worked there almost 20 years ago...","replyToPid":0}
