What happens to driving record if caught overweight?

{"text":"I'm working for a food distribution company that gave me a 48ft trailer to haul the day after Christmas that's 80,300 gross vehicle weight, 780 pounds overweight on the trailer tandems and 220 pounds overweight on the steering axle, after sliding the trailer tandems all the way to the rear. Originally, before I slid the tandems all the way back, the trailer tandems were overweight 3700 pounds. I refused to haul it, but my transportation manager said all the scale houses on my route are closed today and that, even if I were caught, the company would pay the ticket and it wouldn't affect my driving record. He also said I'm allowed 13,000 on the steering axle. I asked him about having the rear trailer axle over 41 feet from the kingpin. He said that isn't a concern for these trucks. ???
