{"text":"Truck and Treats!\n\nIt’s that time of the year again! Jack-o-lanterns, witches, skulls, and all things spooky can be seen all around. Halloween is upon us!\n\nHalloween has evolved from an overlooked holiday into a cultural phenomenon. And what’s one key ingredient of a proper Halloween? The treats of course! We have you, truck drivers, to thank for being at the center of this Halloween mania every year.\n\nAmericans will spend $2.4 billion collectively on 600 million pounds of Halloween candy this year alone. That much candy is equivalent to the weight of six Titanic ships. Snickers, Mars, Hershey Bars, Reeses, Chips, Candy Apples, and more! All and more are moved by truck drivers across the country weeks in advance. We have you Reefer drivers to thank for hauling chocolates across all seasons so they stay nice and cool upon arrival, rather than a melted mess.\n\nThat’s not all. The decorations, costumes, make-up and pretty much anything else are all delivered by trucks as well!
