{"replyTo":"","text":"If you’re leasing on to a carrier as an owner operator, you’ll need a base plate and ifta license. Some carriers offer these for you. You’ll have to have a 2290 heavy highway use receipt. This is best paid by you (550$ for all 48 states I think). You’ll want to know what the company is going to pay you so you can estimate your profit. Keep in mind that company drivers make .50 cents per mile and have no risk with the truck breaking down. You’ll want to be at a dollar or more which is hard to find. There’s other stuff I’m leaving out but that should get you going if you have a cdl and medical card. Good luck ","replyToPid":0}
