How high do you idle your truck?

{"text":"I got a 2017 Cascadia Evolution I was told idling is the worst thing you can do to your truck, I can’t afford an apu as of right now maybe later down the road. I was told to use high idle while in sleeper. So how high am I suppose to idle to prevent it from taking a toll on the engine? Thanks! ","text":"Yea I know, I just bought the truck and a some what used reefer and paid the insurance people. Don’t want to dip into the maintenance fund to buy an APU I’m on a search for a used or refurbished APU. Been driving since I was 22, just turned 27 been wanting to become an O/O since I started thought a Freightliner would be a good starter truck thanks for the info! ","replyToPid":397817}
