{"text":"Hey drivers, I’m starting a project for that’s for Truck drivers by truck drivers and would love to hear your stories about your life on the road, how you handle situations both as a team or as a solo driver. My fiancée/Co driver have been driving for a few years now and have been wanting to get a more open and easily accessible way to get info about both the pros and cons of being a driver. Anything and everything is accepted since these are not only a way for you to Hopefully learn to but teach or warn others about the life and profession. The do’s and the don’ts, the live and learn, opinions, the rants, the love and hate, the wish I knew things about the profession that you chose to stay with day after day. We are hoping to get our project off the ground in the coming weeks and make it accessible not only to you as drivers but to the general public as well. We are not just looking for info on the OTR  aspect but from all points of the trucking industry. {"replyTo":"","text":"I ise to be OTR with swift until I switched to U.S.Xpress about a month ago. now im dedicated. im not really sure how I like it because traveling was my dream. driving is how I deal with things going on in my life. when I was working with swift my wife, well ex wife, rode with me sometimes but she never really supported me in my dream job. I've wanted to do this since I was just a little kid. she wanted to stay home and not work and do nothing with her life. thats not how I was raised. I learned that truck driving is going to be hard on a relationship if both spouses don't share similar interests. because i wasn't home much, the arguments started. then she started cheating on me, even though i bought us a brand new house. sooner or later I found out because she had another guy at the house I paid for when I got home to surprise her. So I grabbed my stuff and my dog and hit the road. I went through a very rough and depressing time but because I had my dream job of traveling and my best friend, my dog shaggy, I was alright. im doing so much better now because I realized that she didn't care about my dreams so I stopped caring about her. yes it hurt for a while because she was my wife but she didn't support me. I love my career and never will give it up.","replyToPid":0}
