{"text":"IMMEDIATE RELEASE\n Sept. 11, 2020 \n For more information: Kelly Kultala (785) 207-0715 Kelly.Kultala@ks.gov \n\nOverlay project at U.S. 24 and NW Rochester Road to begin Sunday The Kansas Department of Transportation will be conducting an overlay project at the intersection of eastbound and westbound U.S. 24 and Northwest Rochester Road, in Topeka, from Sunday, Sept. 13 to Friday, Sept. 18, weather permitting. Work will occur from 8:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. and there will be intermittent lane and turn-lane closures as needed. Traffic will be controlled using arrow boards, attenuator trucks and traffic cones. Drivers should expect delays, uneven pavement, and add extra travel time to their commute. KDOT urges all motorists to be alert and obey the warning signs when approaching and driving through a highway work zone.
