Chrome tips?

{"text":"So rookie question here, I'm aware. I've tried a few chrome polishes and find the same result. Looks great, but lasts only a few days. Is there some way to make it last longer? Something ya'll use to seal it? Wax maybe? Same for the paint. Seen a few things online, but thought asking ya'll may be more actual, road tested advice. A bar of jeweler's rouge (solid bar, no liquid), bust it up and put that In a one gallon Jerry can fill with gas. Shake it well. Carpet cut into 4\" pieces. Pour bit of gas/rouge mix on carpet and scrub rim. Older the rim the longer it takes. Will see grime come out. After that clean rim and apply polish."}
