","text":"Ok. So I see a petro selling fuel for $3/gallon. And yes some carriers get a discount. Mine for example get $.25/gallon off. So that’s $2.7(/gallon. Across the street is a small place selling for $2.25/gallon. And considering how much fuel a petro moves, they are certainly getting fuel much cheaper to start. And fuel tax remains the same. A fixed rate per gallon. Yes, they indeed are gouging and making huge profits on fuel. ","replyToPid":386024}

","text":"just showing truck stops fuel profits are not as high as they seem. majority of major chains show .15 to .30 profit per gallon. the profit margins are not that great. t/a is having a hard time showing profitability. Now charging more and more reserved spaces.","replyToPid":386038}
