Due to covid I  was not allowed in the building to see them load the truck long story short the loader  load the truck with no air bags to stop the pallets from moving side to side he put air bags on the last two pallets so from the back of the trailer it looks like its load properly well after you take the first 2 pallets off the whole load shifted to one side pepsi is trying to make me pay for the lumpers to fix the load i refuse to so my question is what can I do legally? ","text":"Actually don’t listen to this tool.\nIf you closed the doors the driver is 100% responsible for his or her load.\n\nIt is like when getting an inspection at customs or the DOT.\n\nIf there is a load shift and there is damage to the cargo the first thing one of the fore mentioned asks is “who put the seal on the trailer”? \n\nIf you answer the shipper, all fault is taken from you the driver and put back on the shipper.\n\nYou won’t have a claim against your insurance and the company doesn’t take a hit on their safety score.\n\nNow if the driver closes the doors and installs the load locks it is without a doubt “100% the driver’s fault and actions can be taken towards the driver.\n\nThe person above that commented on my reply is obviously not a trucker and has no clue about the industry.","replyToPid":379000}

(inproper loading by shipper. but i wont shut doors till i cover my rear. (some loads you just  cant see how they were loaded)"}

I've pulled enough Pepsi loads,  every Wednesday and Friday.  that's how they are normally loaded and every load I've ever pulled from Pepsi has stated that 2 load straps or load locks.  you have to close and seal the doors if your not comfortable about it back back to the dock and refuse to leave until it's correct.","replyToPid":0}
