{"replyTo":"","text":"Going to community colleges is the cheapest way to obtain your CDL. The only bad things is you have to sit doing semesters to get it. A regular CDL school only takes 3 weeks but they charge $4000+ Not everybody got it like that. I say go to the college that's nearest or help you get your CDL the quickest. After you get your CDL you still have to continue to train with whoever you are employed by. This is only done by your first employer. They not just going to give keys and say go make some money. Mistakes are made by drivers of all experience out here. There's people who been trucking for 5 years that still have problems with backing a trailer. My advice to you is to just get your CDL the best way possible. And be honest with whoever hire you and say I'm not totally comfortable driving but I'm willing to learn. I'm not good at backing and want to be good at it. Your trainer should help you because it's there job to sign you off with approval. There's company's like Swift that don't give no damns. Long as you put enough training hours you good. Make them trainers properly train you cuz you can cause harm or death easy out here.","replyToPid":0} |
