{"text":"FYI. any of you who have bought a GPS from either Tom Tom or Garmin. You need to make sure to register and copy the Serial number down. My GPS was stolen. Now the best part. TOM TOM has the capabilities to shut down your device that was stolen. Making it inoperable to the person who stole it. All they need is a police report with the case number. Once they have it they then can render it useless to whoever has it . So kudos to TOM TOM. check with Garmin if you have one and see what the procedure is with them.
