I drove for Wilson Logistics hauling for Prime got my cdl thru them and left after a year as a company driver hated reefer business\n\nLeft and went to Poly-Trucking and making great money and get as much time off as you desire. They pay off the hub NOT zip code to zip code and they pay $.56 per miles $30per drop and pick up cell phone of $50 per month layover pay $100per day NO forced dispatch you pick the loads you want. We had some nice high value pharmaceutical loads, Eli Lilly I think. We left Prime because someone drove into the truck on the freeway and road assist was giving alot of attitude about how I should have called them first and not towed the truck or some nonsense. Also, I think we burnt out as team drivers and were looking for a way out, at least I was. Prime was a top notch company though and I'd recommend them to any beginner. If you live in the East and have exp it looks like car hauling is a better bet.

Of course, the group has gone to court a few times because Prime frequently changed the contracts without telling drivers (illegal). For example, for several months they didn't charge drivers for something, then started charging even though it is not in the contract. Also, my ex-girlfriend's husband used to drive for them. He probably lost pay at least once a month, because they didn't have enough freight (he got out of trucking and is in another career).","replyToPid":0}

{"replyTo":"","text":"I did team lease at Prime and averaged over 2k/wk. Dispatch was cool. Prime has facilities in alot of places that are pretty sweet. Free bunks/showers in a few locations and a large gym in Springfield. Prime was very organized and everything went smoothly there. TMC seems to be a smaller company, but all of their equipment looks pretty top of the line. Their Peterbilts are alot better than Cascadia Freightliners at Prime. TMC also looks like they train their drivers incredibly well when it comes to securement. If you're trying to make the most money with your time though, I don't believe either of these are good options. if you do Solo company for either, then I'm pretty sure that you'll end up somewhere around 1,200/wk.","replyToPid":0}
