{"text":"I just had a no oil pressure warning light come up coming down the i70 in Colorado last week. it's a bankruptcy fix 😭. worn bearings, the whole nine yards. I'm not really getting good information from the repair shop, and waking up from my sleep, I don't know if my choice of oil had anything to do with this break down. I've run so many different scenarios and I almost feel that I'm at fault. I changed my oil every 4 months, I usually run 4k-4.5k miles a week, but I never did an oil analysis.\n\nI would think if the oil I used was too thin, that you would notice gradual changes in oil pressure or noise in performance. But I guess humans aren't great at detecting gradual changes in noise. Going down the hill with engine brakes on, the engine was still turning smooth, but loss oil pressure and engine shut off. after.that, the engine still turned on and turned over very smooth. So I don't believe it's the oil viscosity, but I want to poll around to see other's opinion.\n\nwhat type of oil do you run? and has anyone experienced a no oil pressure problem?\n\nI was running a 15w-30 full synthetic from triax.
