Passing Out of Lane ticket in California- advice?

{"text":"I got cited 12/04/19 for passing on the 3rd lane on a 4-lane section of I-5 by the highway patrol. I’m from Texas. \nWould I need to get a California traffic attorney or can I get one from Texas? \n\nOr is it time to get into one of those truckers’ attorneys services such as Motor Club of America? My brother in law suggested I join that club. He’s gotten two over-15 mph speeding tickets to go away without getting into his license. \n\nAny idea how much the fine alone would be? \n\nTrooper was nice fella.
