what would you say if you were being recorded in your truck without your consent?

{"text":"Sometimes I wonder if I am being recorded because there is a small microphone looking thing over the driver's seat. My road assist also knew where I was during my downtime. I keep my vehicle with my parents when home.  My dad called me to let me know the truck was leaking fluid from the tire (loose lug nuts). when I messaged them they told me the address where I was at when I messaged them even though they obviously have truck gps location tech. I was upset. now I'm as sorts of paranoid. I have a cheap work phone. I do not keep the company app on my personal phone ever again.  I think they spy on me. when I switched phones they messaged me within ten minutes of the app missing on my phone. they knew it wasn't there right away. it's disturbing. so I'm pretty sure that's a microphone. sometimes I tap and scratch at it. they dont have my permission to record me at this time so I have choice things to say at it too. makes me mad, stupid paranoid company. I dont know why it's drivers that need mandatory psych pills. you dont see me wandering around with recording devices at people's homes in private lives. With eld now the government knows where that truck is at all times not just your company. \n\nAs for the app easy get an iPhone and disable the location services for the app. iPhone is the best in security and privacy of any smart phone out there. \n\nNow if your company uses a tablet for their eld then there is a camera and mic on you but it’s disabled. Now some states do have laws against recording you without your knowledge. However since we’re governed by the FMCSA companies could try to claim exemptions from state laws.
