","text":"withen reason of course.\neasy to cook your own meals, bare minimum, toss 1lb of ground beef and some water in a slow cooker, turn it on high, and let it sit for 4 hours.\n\nminor repairs can be easy.  I replaced my front bumper, it was just 4 screws, same with a headlight assembly.  no mechanic experience needed.  last night I replaced the windshield washer reservoir on my truck, just 2 screws.  don't need to be a diesel mechanic to replace mudflaps or the airlines to your trailer.  \n\nLast night a slow coolant leak on my truck turned into a worse leak.  I'm at a Pilot in PA and it's 32f with freezing rain, but it is not something I can properly repair myself (metal pipe, not a rubber hose) so I just somewhat patched the leak and refilled the coolant (6 gallons) so I can finish my load and look into a proper repair.  Wont have to pay for a tow.\n\nI once took a load from another driver at an old company when he put his truck in a shop to have s lightbulb changed, and he was a lease driver.  the shop was backed up so he had to wait, and he had to pay for the shop to do the simple task."}
