I'm really struggling to grasp the idea of a lumper fee in 2019, with all the advancements in technology, mainly the equipment that allows humans to lift tens and thousands of pounds with literally a finger.\n\nmy main argument for mentioning 2019 it's because I used to go with my dad when I was in middle school, I only remember him mentioning about a lumper fee on occasion. {"replyTo":"","text":"plumper fees are a crock of shit...but they charge the company's and or owner operators because the freight has to be restacked a certain way so it can fit on their shelving in the warehouses...example is you might have a pallet stacked 5 pieces wide and 10 high...its needs to b restacked 3 wide and 5 high to fit on their shelving...thats all it is....","replyToPid":0}
