{"replyTo":" 623679 发表于 2019-11-22 14:45:51 Um nope that’s not how that works bub, the higher the rpm’s the lower the fuel economy 😂, I can assure you, you are not getting better fuel economy going 85 from 70, you’re just getting from point A to point B quicker, assuming you don’t pull over to take a break every hour ","text":"you misunderstood. I'm not driving 85mph. the truck was governed at 70mph. I opened the threshold so it can breathe. when I drove 40 miles at 75mph my mpgs did in fact increase. my last truck, a 2020 KW T680 could get 10mpg out the factory. when they governed it to 64mph you could get 8mpg on a good day. KW will tell you the same. I'm a numbers guy and I'll take mpgs over mpg any day. my motor was bogging down at 1500 rpm and it took longer to get up to speed. increasing the band allows me to stay in a gear longer which decreases my time to get up to speed from a dead stop. these motors are built to RUN not putter.","replyToPid":259796} |
