Schneider Changed My Home-Time.

{"text":"I was making a delivery, and halfway through the delivery they changed my ending destination from my home OC to an OC 8 hours in the other direction.\nI called and couldn’t get my DBL on the phone. He just messaged me on the tablet saying the final destination had indeed been changed. \nI asked if they would allow me off for the same amount of days after I finished the load. They said no. I’d have to wait until the following week. \n\nMy off time has been scheduled for 3 weeks. \n\nI told em they could pick the trailer up at my HOMETOWN OC. You get me for 2-3 weeks at a time. You don’t get to dictate my 2 days home too. \nI held up my end of working for y’all on THESE days. You don’t get to take my home time and Void your obligation to me. \n\nThey put me on Out of Service until further notice. \n\nIt seems super unethical they can do that. \nI didn’t agree to drop the trailer anywhere but home. They changed it mid drive, when I couldn’t see it until I stopped to make the delivery. ","videos":"[]","link":"{}","pics":"[]","canComment":true}

If your DBL won’t go to bat for you there was a policy in place that you could go up the chain of command to get it resolved. At least there was when I drove for them. "}

HR called my District Manager. \n\nMy District Manager gave me an Extra Day @ Home + 2 Days Layover Pay.\n\nSo Justice. But now my DBL won’t ever answer the phone and won’t respond to any Tablet Messages.. \n\nSuch A Holes. \n\nJust Do The Right Thing, and Don’t Treat Me Like A Dog.","replyToPid":0}
