","text":"If your developers used best practices like they should have in the first place this wouldn’t be such a problem. If they were decent programmers they would be using the free and open source tools or building their own versions of them into the app that checks the database against already taken usernames and profile pictures. This isn’t rocket science and we’ve had these tools and best practices in place for years now. This is just ridiculous. Also you should be using device ID’s so the same person can’t login to multiple accounts on the same device. And where’s 2 factor authentication? There is literally no security in place here.
