It’s not rocket science to build an enclosure around the compressor with sound dampening material and run the exhaust under the trailer. It’s just that the manufacturers making these trailers are lazy when it comes to innovation and doing the bare minimum to get by. The CEO’s aren’t forward thinking, and as a result aren’t actively attracting the best engineers to make things better. It’s been like that for years, although it is slowly getting a little better as we as a society are becoming more tech aware. But don’t look for this to be tackled anytime soon unfortunately. But it does help to complain about it to industry folks. Tweet to the CEO’s of the manufacturer’s. "}

Ya gots to get use to that kind of stuff.  When I was stationed on an aircraft carrier I worked night shift and had to sleep a couple decks below the flight deck, with jets slingshotting off that mother every few minutes. Adapt and overcome.
